Based at Priests Farm, Great Limber near Immingham we are in a perfect position to service our Client base both locally, throughout Lincolnshire and Nationally.
Our experience covers a wide range of Engineering applications, including Machinery and Structural maintenance, Conveyor systems, Crushing Systems, Process manufacture and installation (e.g: Lime Kilns, Hydration and Bagging plants, Drying Equipment, Seed processing equipment) Supply and erection of Structural buildings (e.g: Grain stores, storage sheds).
We carry out Silo maintenance and installation and have close links to the Construction machinery industry carrying out maintenance and supplying manufactured parts for agricultural and industrial plant (e.g: Bucket repairs, Excavators, Diggers, Dumpers, Trailers etc.).
We run a Mobile site maintenance service using fully equipped self-sufficient vehicles with welder/generator.
We have a workshop available for sheet metalwork, steel fabrications with press brake, guillotine and rolling equipment which services our Customer base and supports our on-site projects.
Our Company has a full commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations and our aim is to provide a Customer focused efficient service, leading to improved confidence and an understanding that as a Company we can deliver the products and services required on time and within budget.
The Company was established at the Forge, High Street, Great Limber. Developing the Engineering business, predominantly with Agriculture, Quarrying maintenance and Steelwork Fabrications
The Company outgrew the Forge and moved to Priests Farm, Great Limber. The new Premise gave the opportunity to expand the business and develop new markets.
The Introduction of Adrian Joyce as Works Manager and Brian Skipworth, a long standing Employee as Engineering Manager prepared the Company for the next stage of progression. The system of mobile work units was developed to fulfil Maintenance Contracts in the Quarry, Construction and Agricultural Industries.
The development of the fabrication workshop with investment in Press Brakes, Rolling Machines and Guillotines gave more options for expansion of the steadily growing business.
The Incorporation of the Company to become John W Joyce Engineering Ltd
Adrian Joyce became Managing Director and Brian Skipworth, Engineering Director. The Company developed into Industry, taking on Structural and Construction projects. Expanding its Quarrying and Agricultural contracts to include Project Management and Installation. Development of IT, Health and Safety and Human Resource systems were a major factor in the expansion of the business at this time.
The downturn in the economy saw a consolidation in the Company and a movement into different markets while sustaining its close links with the Quarrying, Construction and Agricultural Industries. It has taken the opportunity to develop quality products manufactured for the Construction Machinery Industry dealing with high profile companies
The Aim is to sustain our current position and develop the Company to take advantage of the new and exciting opportunities which are available. With hard work, positive leadership and innovation this is both realistic and achievable.
